The UA Institute for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Studies invites applications from groups of faculty, or faculty and graduate students, seeking support for interdisciplinary Research Clusters during academic year 2008-2009. The Clusters must contribute to the mission of the Institute for LGBT Studies. Proposals should be initiated by University of Arizona faculty, and clusters should plan to be active throughout the academic year. Applicants are particularly encouraged to propose clusters that contribute to graduate or undergraduate education, foster university-community collaborations, and/or generate public events. We expect to fund 2-3 Research Clusters in amounts not to exceed $1,500 each.

Proposals are due no later than 5:00pm on April 30, 2008.
