David Michael Robinson (Ph.D., English Literature, University of California at Berkeley) teaches both English Literature and Lesbian & Gay Studies. He is the author of CLOSETED WRITING AND LESBIAN AND GAY LITERATURE: CLASSICAL, EARLY MODERN, EIGHTEENTH-CENTURY (Ashgate, 2006). On sabbatical for the 2006-2007 academic year, he is working on several new projects, including an analysis of late '80s and early '90s AIDS criticism (drawing on his experience with ACT UP/NY and ACT UP/Golden Gate), and a study of interwar lesbian and gay fiction in England, France, and America.
